I remember this building from 1960 - 1962. I worked at Surfway from age 13 to 15 and one of the employees named Wayne Naiga lived in the PBQ so I had a few occasions to visit him there. Back then, I don't recall any age restrictions. Each of the floors was more open like a military barracks with wall lockers used as partitions. The living conditions seemed rather bleak consistent with the frontier atmosphere of Kwajalein in the early 1960s. They complained about the place even back then.

Let us pause for the moment of silence. Still probably has that stinky feet and ass smell even after it was leveled. You guys sure as heck deserved something better to live in and I hope they provided that for you.
Would you happened to know Bob Orlock? Or if he is still on Kwaj? I used to work with him in the Comm Center.
I had a great time while I was on Kwaj. As long as I got leave to Hawaii once a year.
Sorry I don't recognize the name. I know a few guys still out there but they really scaled back ops compared to what they used to have. Maybe with these crazy N. Koreans things will pick up and we'll all get a chance to revisit. Not a bad place if you have some decent digs like they do now.

When my friend Murray lived there in 1981 there was a bay of about 12 guys living in one room. A smelly assed place where everyone was snoring from drinking. I was fortunate to live in the Reef with only one room mate.
Your right the air conditioning will freeze your ass out of there. 45 years of mold ...
God what a pity ful site. Oh well you signed the contract.

You'll be glad to know they demolished the place a while back...poor roaches, never knew what hit 'em.
