  • Hehehe...I'd really like to be able to see the pistol shooter when that gallon jug was hit from 100 yards away. It just as easily could've been a rifle shot and we wouldn't know. Not implying anything...just sayin'.

  • @alternatehistories good point friend but i promise you it was the 475 that took it out....

  • it was trust me! bitter cold!!

  • Little flinching going on there at the end....;-)

  • Good video, just a bit of advice to make it better, use a tripod for the camera, a little bit too shaky, otherwise I liked it !!!

  • damn thats a badass pistol, GO WYO!

  • @tavspop In common usage amongst myself and all other firearms owners I've ever met. Yes, in cowboy action shooting, "pistol" is usually a generic term which encompasses revolvers. But outside of that, common usage is, for example, "pistol OR revolver" -- "pistol" being short for "semi-automatic pistol", separate and distinct from "revolver" or "wheelgun".

Merrian-Webster even defines "pistol" as "a handgun whose chamber is integral with the barrel". A revolver does not fit this definition.

  • @jerseyemt Not so. I compete in what we call Cowboy shoots and we all refer to our single action revolvers as pistols. The word pistol has been used for several hundred years before the invention of autoloaders. Common usage where? On utube? My local indoor gun range refers to all their rental guns(auto or wheelgun) as pistols. In purest form all handguns are pistols.

  • @tavspop In common usage, "handgun" refers to either a semi-automatic pistol or a revolver, while "pistol" refers only to a semi-automatic pistol.

  • @tavspop You just don't get it. Once again, revolvers(single or double action)autoloaders(single or double action) single shot or even hybrids like the Matebba are all pistols. I suppose the colonials used dueling handguns? NO Dueling pistols(single shot/muzzle loading) And I suppose Bill Hickock used Colt Navy handguns? NO Two pistols carried in a sash. Just because Gun Digest calls autoloaders pistols does not mean that all other handguns are not pistols. Go to a gunstore and ask them.

  • I'm not dictating the rules, I'm just saying the truth. And handguns can be pistols OR revolvers. If you don't believe this, than explain to me wtf is a revolver. What? You're going to that they doesn't exist? Pistol is no way, NO WAY a synonym for revolver. They are very different categories of guns, some with different purposes. Have you ever shot a fucking gun?!?! Yes, I own some guns. Yes, I've taken and given some courses on weapons training. And Tupac rap is the best.

  • @tavspop i know a shit tone more than u, why do u think thats stupid?
