Reading these comments was so funny. so wat if Soca orginated from Trini others hav excelled in it. Im from Trini n sumtimes dey get me upset bcos look dem now start dressin n dancin lik Jamaicans n even singin reggae. who cares. Its all about great music.
oh gosh how allyuh so retarded. is always di trini and jamaicans feel dem is it. allyuh lapse an now dem otha islands makin it internationally, so allyuh vex. WE IS ONE CARIBBEAN, most of us have family from all over di caribbean. DIS GETTIN ON MEH NERVES NOW MAN. IS WE THING, EMBRACE IT SAME WAY!!!!

i understand how even other people from other islands have forgotten that htey had music just like or similar to soca, and yet they keep sayin that TnT INVENTED SOCA...THAT MAKE NO SENSE.. its like yuh puttin down ya own rythm..i kno for bajans that we had all sorts of bands and fast paced music for long time...yes Tnt made music from the islands more known, but to say they started the rythm and all other islands followed is wrong.. and the proof is that Tnt soca sound different from others
