  • it's fantastic!

can you telle my witch program do you use?

  • It was made with 3D Studio max 9

  • Great job with the animation. The only thing I can say is that Iowa is flat land, with no mountains, although they do add to the drama.

  • lol I made the film before we knew it was Iowa.

  • When I first saw the reboot Enterprise in promo still pics, I was disgusted. Still photos just don't work with this design. But put in in motion.... what a difference. It's actually quite elegant and strong looking, and I wish the real film had given this girl more screen time. A launch sequence like this might have been a jawdropper.

Scene of flying through cloudy skies... beautiful.

Very, very nice work. Canon be damned, this Enterprise is a beauty and you've captured it well.

  • the star trek opening music (the one you have in the begining) is so epic!! LONG LIVE STAR TREK! lol

  • Wow-cool

  • @CCACFilms Actually, it's NOT completely flat. Where the ship yards are in Iowa is rather hilly. They botched that bit up in the film.

  • Iowa has no Mountains...Godd Job....not

  • @blackops555 VERY TRUE

  • Funniest thing is that when they released this version of the Enterprise, like ZetaRanger79, I was mortified that the Enterprise looked so different. Then I took another look, and it grew on me.

It inspired me to not recreate this Enterprise, but to make one of my own that was heavily inspired by Andrew Probert's Enterprise, Matt Jeffries Enterprise, and of course Ryan Church's Enterprise.

  • I bet Scotty is saying "Slow her down captain!".

  • @JensenDR5150 To agree with your post, I also point to another series. Gundam. When the average space faring vessel entered a planet's atmosphere, it could not properly fly under it's own power.

Space Engines and Atmospheric engines are vastly different.

(To anyone out there, contructive correction of my terms would be nice. ^.^ )

  • One problem...the original Enterprise was not aerodynamic. That's why they built them in orbiting space docks. In fact, I'm pretty sure Capt. Kirk makes a reference to the Enterprise's inability to fly in any planets atmosphere in an OS Star Trek episode. Nice video though.

  • Great video. Music editing sucks.

  • @ZetaRanger79 True that it might have been a jawdropper, but at the same time, doing that would have made the actual unveiling scene as Kirk and McCoy are approaching it in space lose a lot of its power.
