This is a different version of the song he sings (and lamp dances to) in 'My Own Private Idaho'.

It was a singe that Udo Kier has recorded as a joke. Later, in 1989, he was invited for Russian International festival with several another German singers. He did a great performance on a Moscow scene and the video was on Russian TV for a long time. It was quite popular.

One Russian famouse composer and producer even wanted to work with Udo, he offered him to make a record and a show together and then have a grand tour of Russian cities. He promised Udo to make him a new Russian superstar ! Probably it was perfectly possible (in view of Udo's talent) but Udo said "no".....More later, in 1991, this single was used in a famous Hollywood movie "My Private Own Idaho" where Udo performs with a lamp. Sure you all watched it here on YouTube and remember the movie.

:)) I think it was recorded on same studio by same musician who helped Udo with arrangemet and recording. That's why they sound similarly. This single was released in 1985, Music A Go Go was later, a few years after it.

Yes, official. Udo wanted to make a funny clip and he invented the story about an average German man that works at a computer factory, lives his common life but wants to be free as an eagle. At the end of the story his dream comes true and he turns into the eagle in the bathroom. Lol.. Later Udo called it "ravings" in his interview, in order of self-criticism...but I think it's cool !!! ..lol..
