I read an article, while searching through many film sites. And it said that New Line are selling the rights to the the last two films (or something along those lines) to a branch of Warner bro's that made Harry Potter, and they are ditching Chris Weitz. They definitely have a script already put together (that was confirmed) so it's just a matter of time before they announce the auditions.

so what happened to mrs coulter cuz i have not seen these clips or are they deleted cuz i have got 1 disc. she is being pulled back through i think the northern lights and she reaches out almost saying LYRA!!! i have not seen that before so can any 1 help :/

No, some catholic representive didn't find it good enough. Appearently, that enough to change the minds of milions of people about how good the movie was.
I ain't a big fan of these kind of movies, but I would still like to see a sequel.
Now because of this, it will never happen. That just grinds my gears :)
