  • Hello I have a Lennox Furnace.. Model Number G12Q3E-82-10.. And the pilot light's but does not light the burner's?? Don't Know what to do next? The Fan work's but that's all I get?? Any Help will be GREAT>>>

  • @xXxCrazyJayxXx With a standing pilot that is staying lit but the furnace not kicking on it could be any number of things. There is a good chance that the gas valve itself could be faulty. You are going to have to get a technician out to look at the thing...it could even be a combination of things....but when working with gas it is best to just pay a pro to work on it so it's done right and double checked! :)

  • howell close this and also that the snow!

  • Great video! Just had my gas furnace stop working. Blower did not work. Heat did not try to cycle but the a/c did turn on (no blower thou). Because the heat cycle did not even try to begin i swapped same unit boards (have two units) and YAY! Got a board online for $92 bucks and saved like 500 on service calls:) Id never try to mess with the gas parts above thou. Good to remind people not to rig these boards and bypass stuff. DANGER! Keep up the good work. You are helping people.

  • @mikie2501 If you just bought this house then this would obviously be a way to back out of the deal I would think. I'm not an attorney but to me this seems like an obvious non-disclosure of the conditions of the property and this didn't happen over night so the previous owner would have HAD to have know about it. ...anyway that is my opinion anyway. Again. Do NOT use this furnace. It WILL kill you.

  • @mikie2501 This is NOT repairable. The furnace will have to be replaced and I would strongly recommend having the flue pipe changed as well. Get more than one person to look at it and/or quote for you.

  • @mikie2501 I am not there to see the unit, whether it is a closet unit or an attic unit, but typically this would indicate a seriously defective furnace. To have the smell (usually can't smell it which is what makes it so dangerous) and these health symptoms then there is usually a huge hole or holes rusted in the heat exchanger.

  • @LaoSoftware Do NOT use this furnace! Immediately turn it off and turn the gas valve control if you can find it to the off setting as well and then open the windows to clear the air. If you feel that your health or the health of others in the house is a problem you should see your doctor immediately.

  • @nothadnotbad you'll have to give me a lot more detailed info before I can come up with some ideas. I don't know that this on/off toggle switch is that you are referring to? What keeps coming on and off? Auto is just the switch setting that helps control the blower motor. ON position and the blower runs constantly, AUTO and the blower only comes on when the system is getting a call in heat or cool mode. (generally)
