North Korea has convicted two U.S. journalists of illegal entry and crimes against the nation, sentencing them to 12 years in a labor camp. Laura Ling and Euna Lee were detained in March along North Koreas border with China.
Meanwhile, following North Koreas recent nuclear testing and missile launches, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton told ABCs This Week that the United States could potentially reinstate North Korea on a list of state sponsors of terrorism.
Leon Sigal, a project director at the Social Science Research Council, joins Martin Savidge to discuss the Obama administrations approach to North Korea and how the two journalists factor into the equation.

Because without journalists like these two women, no one would know what goes on inside North Korea. Nearly ALL documentaries about North Korea are obtained illegally in one way or another, as bringing cameras etc. into NK is forbidden.
These girls pay their taxes too, and they got arrested while documenting charity work. Don't put them in the same boat as drug traffickers.

These two journalists illegally enter into other country without a valid visa. It will be punished in any country. Why Whitehouse must spend our tax payers' money on supporting these illegal activities?
Last year Whitehouse also spend our tax payers money to rescue the drug traffickers, who illegally traffic heroin in Thailand and Yemen. What is wrong with Obama? Who give him the right to carelessly spend our tax payer's money?
