  • i have just started using amplitube but the clean presets sound extremely crunchy. what do u use in order to connect ur guitar to ur PC?

  • @Neltheros I use a Presonus 1394 but any USB or firewire recording interface will do

  • the trouble is, what we are hearing re; the amplitube sound, is the sound through the computer speakers, is it not ??. rather than the wav. file ??? can you please clear this matter up.

  • @soulofdepression

Not really, the guitar is recorded via a recording interface straight into the PC, and you're hearing that come out of your speakers I suppose

  • THAT CAB IS BEAT TO SHIT!

  • It seems as the amplitube sim is missing the rich mids. To high and too Low combined. It's Just not there. And Amplitube is a dry distortion not wet like a real tube amp. At least that's my take on sounds anyway. But these amp sims are getting better all the time......

  • tube much better....

  • 1:42 good god!

  • I guarantee with some tweaking u can get that AT3 to sound much better. I had a Soldano which I had to sell and just recently picked up the SLO from the customshop. It sounds incredibly close to the point where if I recorded tracks fro both u would have a hard time picking which one was which.

  • This is MORE than sufficient for recording scratch tracks, and I'd even venture to say that you could (and should) track with this if the acoustics of your recording space are less than ideal... as they almost always are for us bedroom rockstars.

That cab is beyond awesome, by the way.

  • that cab looks like it survived a nuclear explosion

  • This sounds better that sounds better this sounds better that sounds better then you die come back then this sounds better that sounds better .stop.

  • what did you fish that cab out from the bottom of a lake ???

  • Your amp sounds amazing !

You did a really good job in getting AT3 sounding ok.

I found the Marshalls on GR5 a bit better than in AT.

Still cannot beat the real thing but the software amps make life a lot easier. IMHO.

  • Fuck hard to tell

  • The look on your face when you realise Amplitube sounds better. Dont even get started with all that "Hey man thats not tube = it sounds like Line 6". Deal with it.
