This is a good video except there's too much dialogue and you kept changing the songs during it. Plus it would have been nice to see some of the other characters like Lana, Lois, Lionel, Lex, etc. It's a nice video anyway.

Someone new to the show hears "disguise is so thin... girl of your dreams" first. The second has "Chloe" and then the Superman connection including Lex. Third is Chloe knowing Clark's secret -- saw him catch a car. Finally, the opening speech with "Chloe Sullivan Ace Reporter", her Daily Planet hire and use of the Lois Lane pen name. It conveys the twist as audio too and Clark, Chloe, Lana, Lex and Lois are part of the dialogue.

Ma, Pa and Lionel would have been in there but it was a tradeoff with conveying the twist. As for the songs, I wanted it to support both the "Smallville" and "Twist" in the title. So I used The Twist (Hank Ballard version; he also wrote it), Smallville's title theme Save Me (Remy Zero), and then Twist and Shout. The latter version is by Brian Poole and his band, whose main claim to fame may be that the record label Decca signed them instead of the Beatles.

Thanks again for the favorable comments. The video even got a "Most Discussed This Week" Honor (it had one the first day too), but these honors seem to disappear not stay. There's also a Usenet thread I started about YouTube, where I mentioned a few Smallville-related videos here. I may post the Google URL to that later, along with a new page I'll be putting up at the smallville-twist.org site.

Lily, I looked at one of your video favs and saw it was Clana-related. The worst-case intent of this video is it's commentary on what the show should do.

Best case it's an opportunity for fandom to generate publicity for the show before the S6 premiere on Septenber 28. Even those who don't support the Chlark twist probably recognize its popularity and how it can draw in new viewers if more people are made aware of it. It's the kind of twist that can get publicity.

thers a rumour tht chloe dies an so lois teams up with jimmy olsen in season 7 to find out wot happnd, but ther r loads of hints at chloe endin up with clark, so wot if lois dies an chloe changes her name or sumthin??
