  • FYI you want to drive the car instead of free revving it. As said by seafoam.

  • @BlazEajayaday Works fine either way. It's dangerous to drive around with that amount of 'smoke' coming from your exhaust unless you have a closed off area to do so.

  • my vac line connection on the driver side is really tight, i can't pull it or even pry it off with ascrewdriver. how should i loosen it?

  • @robinhood5750 Don't force anything off. Are you sure it's the right line? It may have something securing it on that you have to take off first.

  • actually you are suposed to pour the seafoam into the vac line so fast it cuts the engine out. its right in the seafoam instructional video. then you let it set 5 minutes and start the car up

  • @jettaracer56 That would literally take all day. And forcing my engine to cut off without me manually doing it just sounds sketchy.

  • Seafoam works wonders, good DIY

  • I was going to do this the other day but I didnt have time. Good to see that it will smoke otherwise I would be freaked out!

Good DIY. Gonna try this....i have an MK3 but what hose did you use. Are you using the The vac line going into the intake manifold? Also I've been reading that some people put a little in their oil, drive it around the block and then change the oil.
