  • Gawd, I love her music, and she's so fuckin' beautiful.

  • "So you better grab a hold of something, steady, steady, 'cause I'm cutting the line But I remember your shoulder, your breath and the moment, that I came un-tethered and danced, into that dream, the one where you kiss me and then the camera flashed Well, I'll tell you what, I'll save you the trouble of running away yeah I'm already gone out the door and I stole this moment for me" - you put into words and music what is inside me. it can be on it's way and i feel much lighter than before- thanks

  • This chick's got it!

  • Just watching this makes my heart sing....thanks for posting, Christen! Any chance you can post some more recent clips?

  • I LOVE THIS SONG :):):):)

  • In keeping in the tradition of some of my favorite artists, Chris Pureka's music is quite morose but the lyrics are like poetry and this is no exception. She has a talent for bringing you into the emotion and having you experience it. In my opinion, that is the mark of a good storyteller, and couple that with her ability to have you feel the pain in the music as well, really makes her something exceptional. I love her.

  • @eulenspiegel21

    ha, exactly.

  • absolutely agree! her music is amazing, and she IS fuckin' beautiful :)

  • heh, yep. i think this timing business is like her built in cover protection, so amateurs like me and many others won't butcher her songs. right she is.... still. like with porch songs... i figured out a way to cheat my way through it but it will never be as good as the original. oh well, playing her music makes me happy anyway.

  • 1-2-3 and 2-3 1-2-3-4-5-6

  • So happy someone like Chris Pureka is out there writing great songs in different timings. Tired of 4/4
