Chile invited to become a member of the OECD

The OECD has invited Chile to become its second member in Latin America after Mexico. The invitation to Chile to become the Organisations 31st member comes at a time when the OECD is expanding its relations with the region. In addition to acknowledging Chiles efforts to develop its market-based economy, it confirms the OECD's determination to explore new frontiers to help governments address world economic challenges while championing the highest standards in public policy.

gracias andres v eres un genio y gracias a los cilenos de la politica por pensar en que chile salga a delante que nesesitamos los chilenos gente estudiosa y inteligente como tu andres v. por eso es inportante que los chilenos nos desarrollemos en los estudio porq es muy inportante para el pais como suisse aqui la gente estudia y si no van al colegio como unas cuatro vece le esplican y si no lo llevan a un colegio para los jovenes que tienen un problema eso es bueno pensar en el jov futuro chile

I don't think its a good idea. The oecd is ment for advance economy's the chelan economy dosn't met the standard in any way not even economicaly. Its not even a member in the G-20 that should at least be a minumum requierment to me. Brazil is probably a better choice even better than argentina. both are at least in the G 20 and Brasil has a very big economy. Mexico admission is due to the country being a regonal leader and having a big economy. chile has none of this qualities.
