Your probably allergic to the alkaline base like I am!! Boil water, pour it in a clean kitchen sink add vinegar let the hair soak in the mixture for 15 mins rinse with warm water and let them dry! I have to do these or my head, scalp neck everything is on fire! Hope that helps

@raynlead You must be right!! I do think it's an allergy!! When the braids would touch my neck, I'd gets to itching like crazy!! That was the reason I took a couple rows out from the back!! Thanks so much for the info!!

for the itching, my mama told me to pick up either sea breeze or witch hazel. Take a cotton pad and just run it along your scalp. After that just apply some melted coconut oil or olive oil so you're not dry. It works really well! just a tip for the next time.
