What a great song to listen to when you're peeved.
As far as the nirvana comparisons go... Johns is a better musician, but I think his lyrics were always missing something. BUT... Nobody did a better job of reminding you of nirvana. Not even local h

For all you saying old Silverchair was nothing more than a Nirvana clone act, I beg to differ...I grew up listening extensively and endearingly to both groups (and many other 90's alt rock acts), and I can honestly, and with confidence, assert that Silverchair achieved a great and mostly unique sound with their first three records. Their influences shine brightly through without their music being too derivative. I mean what Nirvana songs do Paint Pastel Princess or Petrol & Chlorine sound like?

I'm sorry but he doesn't look gay at all. He looks gentle. Most blond males are like that unless they go completely insane. And by like that I mean gentle, compassionate and intelligent. They aren't brute meatheads like most of the world. You don't have to bench 1000 ibs. and punch everyone in the face to make love to a women. You fucking idiots.

@Tuckerbomb thats not true though, on the first 2 albums ben gillies the drummer co-wrote a lot of the songs! since then, yeah, its definitely daniel johns solo project basically!!!

@ossguitarist1 Yes, maybe I have been extreme to say "music plagiarism". I referred only to that initial riff. I have not mentioned the essence of music, which really is not the same.
I think I could have been right, if I had compared "Slave" with "I Do not Know Anything" of Mad Season.

@AdiSinner I've played Breed as a Cover for the two bands I've fronted pretty often. Being a Drummer and a guitarist, It's hard for me to distinct any similarity other than one or two of the chords played. The Melody and structure are way different, along with the feel of the song. If you told me "Lie to me" and "Territorial pissings" were the same, I'd follow you, even though the chords are different, it's the same feel\energy\structure.

@ossguitarist1 Eerrhh... Well, listen to Breed of Nirvana, and later Satin Sheets of Silverchair, and you'll understand what I said. The main riffs are the same. -_-'

haha Who told you I thought so? he is divorced from her btw, idiot.
