I saw an internet photo of a garbage can bass. I wanted to build on the idea and make the neck on mine stationary. I used what I had on hand in the shed , trial and error. I'm glad you like it , thanks for the kind words.

wow! loved it! Your son does great on the banjo! Plays better than a lot of grown men I've heard around here! my grandpa used to play a washtub bass too! This one sounds great!
