1980 animated television commercial for radio station 3MP, at that time located in the outer Melbourne suburb of Frankston, and predominantly serving the Mornington Peninsula.

Later in the decade the station dropped "That Summer Feeling" and adopted "Easy Music" as its slogan instead, and no longer referred to itself as "Bay City Radio". 3MP's frequency was, and still is, 1377kHz on the AM band.

Clearly this advertisement was made in the days when AM music stations had a bit of money to splash around!

  • u know where in frankston ?

  • Its first home was in the Bayside shopping centre, then some time in the late '80s or early '90s it moved to Davey Street. It now shares a building in Richmond with SEN 1116.
