We were like nine years old and didn't know what to do with nuts and prism. We roamed through the planets trying to do something with them so that our levels became full. Thanks for letting my eyes to see the truth, finally :' )
I can imagine. I was watching this game when my friend played this. I was about 8 or 9 years old too. Never could I imagine this game would be so vast as it is. My friend had a friend that was stuck after killing lassic and didn't know what the heck to do after that. Don't know if that guy ever faced the dark falz in the maze.
I was so close to the end of the game but I didn't have the patience cuz i kept getting lost al the time in that damn castle and there's no way to navigate so I droped it thanks for you're playtrough I can see what I missed
I loved this game and the music. The Phantasy Star series didn't have all the annoying jibber-jabber that Final Fantasy had, and the game world just sat there for you to explore without being pointed in the right direction and ushered through it like in Final Fantasy.
A fun fact about these maze-like dungeons is that they were no larger than 16 by 16 squares per floor (wall segments occupied a full square) and yet you could get completely lost in there.
I remember there was a floor trap just when you got to the exit of the tower, it dropped you several levels down and you had to make your way all over again!

But Phantasy Star, man, absolutely the finest rpg I've ever played.
