religion and homosexuality

Wherein Jack talks about being gay and being religious and just kind of allows people to open up about it to him if they want.

P.S. I know I say Christianity a lot in this video, but I know that there are other religions and homosexuals dealing with those. Christianity and Catholicism are the ones I am familiar with and just the ones that come to my mind. I don't mean to exclude anyone of any other religion.

Why do so many gays talk about religion?

Fascinating, you've never talk about your gayness.

We can all create religion and create our own beliefs, but what about your relationships?

Plus, I think that religion and homosexuality is a very confusing situation for a lot of people. Balancing their faith with their orientation. I think that videos like mine and others are just trying to help and say "There are other people like you out here." At least, that is why I made this one.

Hi your probably a really cool guy but I disagree with your opinion. God does state how he want's us to live & it's all in the Bible. The Bible is a book on how to live life in the walk of faith & get closer to God. God loves you and everyone else on this planet. He had his son Jesus die on the cross for all of our sins. I think you should take another look at God and ask him "Who do you want me to be?" I know Homosexuality is not you cus that's what our government promotes. God Bless

It's good that you tried to put your thoughts in a video. You probably reflect a lot of how people feel about religion at one point in their life or other. Should you ever decide to become involved in a church again--and that is strictly your free choice, one way or the other--there are several churches that are open to gays: the Episcopal Church, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, the Presbyterian Church and the United Church of Christ.

@bimboblacky I truly hope that you will keep making these comments about your Episcopalian Church on YouTube. Gay people, especially young gay people, need to know that there are churches out there that will welcome them and support them. That knowledge might help combat some of the problems with lack of self esteem and bouts of depression that so many gays suffer from due to societal and religious rejection. So, keep at it!

@IamHotBoyTrevor The word "homosexual" wasn't in the original version of the bible, it was added in the 19th century. Being gay is not a sin, what the Bible talks about is male prostitution and gay rape, so if you don't understand those verses don't quote them.
