Filmed in Macksville NSW Australia, Semi Ruined, Dozer stuck, Tow truck destroyed.
Emergency workers took more than 16 hours to remove a prime-mover after it crashed into the Nambucca River at Macksville last Friday (25th).
It is believed the 63-year-old Queensland driver had not managed to turn the corner leading up to the bridge.
The truck crossed to the incorrect side of the road and into the river, near the site of another crash involving a heavy vehicle in early August.
Hard to imagine how this happened in a 50 km zone
Regardless, this bridge is a disgrace being part of the Pacific Highway.
I had my side mirror taken off recently by another truck, whom I might add
had his tyres over both white lines, yes double lines.
