My mum and her friend Constance worked on this film. She met my dad (Dylan lookeelikey at 1.01). An emotional thing watching it for me, - being sweeter for growing up around amazing music and artists..some benefits to being the child of hippies... :)

I became a fan of The Dubs after Bobby Lynch had left so i never had the pleasure of ever seeing him. Seen all the other members. Came across this by pure chance. Many thanks to whoever put this on view.Its taken 47 years but at least now i've seen him on film.

Yes, it's The Grehan Sisters from Boyle, Co. Roscommon. The girl with the banjo is Francis G. Went to her wedding in Boyle in 1975, great craic it was!

It's called The Merry Ploughboy - the dubliners do a great version of it. Im pretty sure the girls playin it are the Grehan Sisters.
