TRON 2.0 - KILLER APP Mod v1.1 Preview Trailer 5

Trailer of the TRON 2.0: KILLER APP Mod from the PC version of the game TRON 2.0, for the first time showing off the game at 1280x720 widescreen in the 16:9 aspect ratio. Not only that: it shows corrected widescreen menus, and the new Derez 3-D Powerups.

Before anyone says anything: 1) I know the Cluster and Sequencer powerups look like crap. This is still WORK IN PROGRESS, they will get better. 2) I forgot to get rid of the server password on the Multiplayer hosting screen. But don't worry . . . it's already changed, and I don't use that password anywhere else. :p

The mod will probably go into private testing in a couple of weeks, and will become publicly available shortly thereafter. The release is close now.

It's best to watch the trailer in higher quality HD so you can see the details better.

In case anyone is wondering, the map is called IO-ERROR and it was a custom map made by Nunyas. I used it because it was easy to remember and find where all the powerups are.

As I said in my response to you on another one of my videos: the Killer App mod is finished and in testing now. As soon as it's released, you'll see an announcement on ModDB and all the Tron fan sites.

Was that Jet animation specifically for when you hover over multiplayer, or does it just play when you get on the title screen?

If the former is true, are there different animations for each option?

The animation plays on the main menu, when you start the game. But it only plays once. So if you leave the main menu and come back, it doesn't play again until you restart the game.

I could have done more animations, but thought one introductory animation was enough. Or else it might get too annoying. :)

I always hoped for a mod as yours for years and now it seems that is is coming soon! I now have the nice surround hi-def system in the living room that has been crying for wide screen disc action! Thanks Team!

Tron 2.0 is one of the most memorable 'FPS' I've ever played.
