This is a very romantic song. I remember the LP back in 1988. It never got the airplay it deserved on the radio. Brenda wrote it and David Sanborn plays a great sax solo. Just a beatutiful song. I used to play it for a woman named Jean. Man, 22 yrs flew by just like that. (snapping my fingers). Enjoy everyday of your life, time waits for no one. Thanks for the memories and the post.

I love Brenda Russell so much. This song reminds me of the time I spent in Marseille, France. Hanging out at the cafe's watching the world go by on the promenade.
The song is longing, romantic and hauntingly beautiful.
