Watch the topic change quickly from the red-meat conservative issue of "killing the minimum wage" to whether it should be raised or not. Though "Kill the minimum wage to boost all paychecks!" sits at the bottom of the screen as a reminder lest Fox fans forget.

raising the minimum wage has good intentions but it also had unintended consquences... how do you expect small buisnesses to afford to pay their workers with a hike? raising the minimum wage makes it harder for less qualified ppl to find a job... also look at the economies in europe of the countries that have raised the minimum wage immensely... theyre down

Additionally, it should be noted that the Democratic Party follows NO school of economics. Occasionally they will mention Lord Keynes, but even his model he admitted himself was unsustainable long term, but as he put it that did not matter because he would be dead. This is the type of utter economic incompetence that is exceptionally prevalent in the Democratic Party. Perhaps they should go back and learn what economic liberalism really means...LoL.

As to the wntoply6 comment on GOP economics. His comment was exceptionally ignorant considering there was a regulatory agency set up in the early '90s with the only job of regulating Fannie and Freddie, it failed. Why? The govt. was encouraging the poor business practices that premised the financial collapse, and you cannot a govt. regulatory agency to regulate against policies they are in fact promoting. The agency has over 200 full-time bureaucrats btw.

I love Forbes on Fox. Typically the pundit ratios on Fox excluding the hosts are equal to most other networks. Count the pundit ratios when you watch these programs and you will notice congruence.

Excuse me, sir, but you've just insulted the intellect of someone who holds a degree in business administration. Don't tell me that I know nothing about economics. Raising the minimum wage is a good thing, for workers as well as for business. If you don't believe me, ask the man who fixed the economy in the 1990's - and, yes, that included a raise in the minimum wage.
