I wouldn't usually approve of a game with ripped graphics and sound but I am prepared to make the occasional exception, as with The Happy Fun Game. It is made with RPG Maker (it isn't an role playing game though) and has (a lot of) solid, action-orientated gameplay and smart, dialogue that pokes fun at videogame writing.

  • Found it on Gaming World forums. I don't usually check out much of the rpgmaker stuff that gets released there but the name stuck out and sounded kinda quirky so I tried it and have always enjoyed it, although some parts are really frustrating.

  • i dont know why but after watching this game i want to drink pepsi

  • lol at pepsi subliminal message

  • Love the little bit of subliminal advertising that flashes past toward the end there :)

  • Haha, this game... It's definitely a fantastic one. DarkYoshi knows what he's doing with gaming. And yeah, while ripped graphics would often hamper a game, due to the parodical nature of this game, it wouldn't be right for it to have original graphics.

You might want to warn them about the VERY VERY VERY sharp difficulty curve. Especially once you get halfway through the game. It just becomes evil.

How'd you find this, by the way? I'm just curious. :P
