  • people will always try to talk you out of taking natural supplements because they think chemical drugs are better and because natural supplements have been scrutinized by big pharma for profit. look up dr. abram hoffer who was a medical doctor himself...he died recently at 94. he was taking niacin for 51 years. another woman for 41 years took niacin & died at 111 years. niacin is now being studied in large dosages to combat dementia and Alzheimers on mice with alziemers and function normal.

  • @rehndawg How interesting!

  • Nancy, my Tom is on all of these, too. He has been for many years. He sleeps a lot, has no energy. He is 79. He had quadruple bypass and one stent. He has battled weight all his life. He has a pill keeper too, and does just what you do. Be well. sandy

  • Really? Interesting. Even the niacin and crestor?

  • You're welcome. I thought someone might appreciate some info on all those pills!

  • hey hey, wait till I tell someone. Now to find someone to tell. I'm not sure I could consider anything related to all these pills favorite. Except perhaps I get to focus on myself more than ever. That could always be a plus! (subtle chuckle)

  • nanc, thats quite a cocktail, just wondering if you've checked with your doc about adding the supplements from the nutritionist? and as for your celexa lol yes thats the most important one of all. i've been on my antidepressants for more than twenty years and i'd be a 'little different' without them at this point. i was going to ask you how are you doing emotionally with having to deal with your heart situation now? remember one day at a time! its great sharing with folks who have been thru it.

  • very informative! Thanks.

  • i think you should go back to your doctor and check reassure your Rx, because niacin and Crestor together have no reason,20 mg crestor has alot of side effects with no prove of benifet on heart attacks, i think Lipitor or any Atorvastatin 40mg will do much better and safer. i hope u will get better soon

  • Very Interesting, Nancy! Going in my Favorites!
