  • @mikey00409 you may want to check out my next video that I have uploaded, it may work out better for you.

  • I think it says that if you have the newest version of kindle for pc. Kindle for pc beta seems to be more reliable. Soon I'm actually going to post a video for Mac users thats even better than this one. This new video will also work with kobo books. I would have posted it today, but I have food poisoning :( I'll post it when I feel better.

  • DRM off iBooks? Hmmm.... You may have to do what I do when I can't rip a DRM and get a torrented version of the book. Kind of a blunt force way to do it, I only do that if I have a legal ebook first though.

  • Fantastic! I'm glad that has worked out for you.

Unfortunately amazon is making their newer releases on topaz format, which is at the moment, un-crackable. In cases like that I end up torrenting or using rapid share to get un-cracked books I have purchased. But I ONLY do this with books I have purchased.

  • Somebody had a valid question for me, it was an issue I had as well, when we tried to run the script for a book onetime it said "failed to determine book path". I think the problem is that kindle beta is trying to update itself to the newest version, which will screw things up. I tried completely uninstalling the program, re-downloading the kindle for pc beta installer, and reinstalling it. I know, it's kind of annoying but it's worth it if you can figure it out.

  • THANK YOU SOOO MUCH!!!! This video just saved me over $1500.00 on my school books!

  • i did what was in the video and when i open unswindle it give me and error that says kindle for pc installation not found yet i have it???? help me

  • So great and so easy!! Thank you so much! I was able to do the same thing for my Samsung Galaxy 10.1 tab. I just saved the files to my dropbox and then opened them up on my Galaxy and chose eBooks to open the file. It worked perfectly! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

  • More recent versions of the DRM removal software are available at Apprentice Alf's blog.

  • Thank you!! It worked perfectly! I've been using Stanza for years and hate that some ebooks I want are only available on Kindle. This lets me keep all of my books organized and in one place.

    Thank you!!!!!!

  • cont. from earlier) I already tried to remove the DRM from them using python and two other python addons, ineptkey and ineptepub. But I got an error when I attempted to fix my epub book, "Error: not an ADEPT epub". So I must be doing something wrong, or is there another way to do it? I'm under the impression that Apple's EPUBs haven't been cracked yet. Hoping I'm wrong.

  • I came across your video hoping you might also explain how to do the opposite and remove a DRM from an ibooks downloaded epub file so it can be viewed in other readers, but it seems specific for Kindle books. Is it possible, do you think, to remove DRMS from iBooks? I was very disappointed when I spent 10 bucks on an iBook only to have it limited to viewing on my ipod touch and it's very tiny screen. I really wanted to read it on my PC as well, but cannot.

  • First off...it's awesome that you put this out there for those of us who would like to transfer our purchased books. (I'm an author & don't think it's fair to have to puchase ebooks more than once) Here's my dilema...I've tried reinstalling Kindle pc several times - Still getting an error message "Unsupported version of Kindle for PC"

    Any suggestions?
