  • I spent so many hours photographing this temple and the people who came to sit among the the statues. The temple is called Nyatapola. Thanks for uploading!

  • The music is by Anil Shahi from his album Raagmani. The selection is called "Dusk Divine." I bought the CD in Nepal from Anil's brother Saran. May be hard to get in the USA.

  • The statues on Nyatapola reminded me of Travalgar square in London where, as you probably know, there are the statues of four large lions. People like to sit next to these lions and talk or read the newspaper, or just sit quietly with them. I saw local people doing the same here and I have photos of two little girls trying to break their necks jumping from statue to statue.
