@teriag God never left the schools, just because there is no longer school sponsored prayer doesn't mean kids can't pray if they want. What about kids who aren't Christian? Do we force them to pray too? How would you like it if someday there is a Muslim majority here and they decide we all have to pray to allah? Bet then you'd want prayer out of schools. If prayer is forced and doesn't come from the heart, it doesn't mean anything.

I'm Christian and if the pagans, muslims, whoever wants to pray to their gods during that time that would be their choice, but don't take away our rights. What was the point anyway? If you don't want your child to participate no one will force them to. But, it's the infringement of our rights that is the problem. It didn't seem to be a problem for 100's of years then all of a sudden it was a problem.
