Massaro putted the match in extra time. After 2mins of the extra time, it was Massaro again where off a cross of Ian Zammit, Massaro lobbed the ball over Suessner to make it 2-1. Before the half-time whistle of extra-time Moffaland managed to pull one back with an own goal of Luke Dimech.

The match ended 4-1 in penalties where Moffaland missed 3 penalties and presented VALLETTA FC a place in the semi-finals!
