Digital is NOT better than analog

Just another example of why digital signals are NOT better than analog. I was TRYING to watch Dick Clark's Rockin' New Years Eve, but our cable company was having problems. I hate to disagree with the FCC, but I'd rather see or hear a little static than miss information because the digital signal cut out because of interference or bad weather. I strongly disagree with the decision to shut off the analog TV transmitters and make all the older TV's obsolete. Go ahead and transmit all the digital you want by satellite and cable but leave the airwaves alone. Give the public a no cost or low cost option if the pay services crap out. No, a digital converter box is NOT the option I'm talking about either.
