Didnt you read what i wrote? I have pratical experience: of a silicone spoon that lost shape after i used it to pass the food to the plate , where i was going to eat.
So, are you saying was just 1 case? Even if the specs sayed it would stand those kind of temperatures? It didnt!

Top brand silicone utensils can resist up to 300 degrees Celsius/572 degrees Fahrenheit. I think that's quite enough for my kitchen.

Silicone is nowhere near so heat resistant.
Can and will change its shape at kitchen temperatures. Hard plastic tools are best at high temperatures.
silicone is best at taking away the food from the pans, once foods are ready to serve, since dont scratch the pans.
