I just came back from a McCoy Tyner concert in Friedrichshafen/South Germany. Just an hour ago. Mr. Mela was the drummer of this Quartett, consisting of Tyner, Gary Bartz, Gerald Cannon and him. Cannon and Mela just blew my mind. Mela played roughly 20 drumsolo, with all of them seeming to get even more wonderful than the last one. In combination with Cannon, who was so present, this was one of the coolest rythmsections I`ve ever heard or seen. I even got autographs by both of them.

Nir, you're great jazz guitarist to me, you used to play my song on the contemporary writing concert at BPC, Berklee 2005...cool man
