We are pleased to announce that Washington Redskins football Hall of Fame wide receiver, Charley Taylor, is giving his support to the NAACP Grand Prairie Branch Back to School Scholarship by extending his name to head up a charitable fundraising golf tournament on Friday, May 14, 2010 at the Prairie Lakes Golf Course.

NAACP Grand Prairie is a non-profit 501C4 organization. The Scholarship Program mission is to provide a platform for at-risk youth to realize their self worth through educational, athletic and cultural enrichment programs by providing scholarships to achieving students.

The Charley Taylor Scholarship Program was founded by Edward Hemphill, CEO/President Charley Taylor Foundation and Angela Lucky, President, NAACP Grand Prairie.

Special thanks to Mayor Charles England & Grand Prairie City Council, City of Grand Prairie Parks and Recreation, Grand Prairie AIRHOGS Baseball and Charley Taylor for its continuous support.
