And I thought a 72 hour wait on handguns and 24 hour wait on long guns was crazy in Illinois. 6 Months later in DC you are lucky to get your gun. Meanwhile your house has been robbed, wife raped and murdered, and criminals where carrying their own guns the entire time.

i bought a shotgun in sportsmans warehouse in albuquerque new mexico, and was told to draw a map to my house because it was a rural address. so i drew two dots then drew a line connecting them, labeled one albuquerque, the other "my house" indicated north. bought my shotgun and went home. anyone else have to jump through this silly hoop? i called the nra lawyers and they said that they have never heard of this.
