9-24-2011 - DRIVE TO - THE PURPLE CHURCH - SPENCER OKLAHOMA

hearing about the local legend of THE PURPLE CHURCH, we took an evening drive to see if my 17 year old had gone without us. i start about half way up the road where everyone talks about the creepy trees and drive you all the way up to the gate itself.

from what ive read online the walk from the gate to THE PURPLE CHURCH is about a 3 block hike.

i may have more video later posted of the trek to THE PURPLE CHURCH.

I have hunted the land around there for years. Yes there use to be a satanic church but it burn down. When we were kids we got chased from there. In the trees on Douglas blv. There would be animals hanging from the trees. And at the corner they would block the road off. Ive been where the old hoise was and the old church. I think more had happend at the old house though but its just rubble.

@dirtybill1964 seems to be just a slab in the ground now..there was no animals anywhere, no animal remains, nothing significant to say it was anything ominous, or even paranormal, or creepy..just a feild (HUGE) and a slab in in...we did hear dogs barking, small tiny dogs..lol...but the night went without incident.

Respond to this video... then where is the location, because google maps shows it as this location. the video shows the gate to get to it, we never found it inside the property. but we did find some concrete slabs that looked like they had tried to bury something under some dirt. you have to go a long way in the property to even get to those slabs. so where this mysterious location at in spencer? and well go and seek it out to find this "PURPLE CHURCH".

@davidburkhartVPC Location: The Purple Church is in Spencer, Oklahoma, near the border of Midwest City past the intersection of 63rd & Douglas Blvd. go until you get to the 'spooky' part with trees hanging over the road, blocking the sky (i called that the canopy in the video). Go further & you will come up 2 a small hill. The entrance to the path that leads to the Purple Church is on the right.
