Yes It sounds great! The triple carb N/A L-series with a cam may not put down the power of an RB or L-28et but they sure sound better!!!!!!

Did you solve your lean condition?
My triples on my Z go lean on throttle tip-in. Have the DCOE 40-151 with the dreaded 3 progression hole setup. So I rebuilt a new big motor (non-stroker) to be sure it wasn't the motor and should be ready to run it soon.
I may end up drilling the 4th progression hole like the Alfa Romeo guys do.

@bajcsi and that's not counting having the rotating assembly milled and balanced, does it. nor the fuel managment upgraded.

Cool, thank for the input--I just finished reguilding my 280z 77, almost totally restored--getting ready to start it....but I think it is not worth it to make it almost undrivable unless I spend a great deal of money. I put a custom paint job on it--flames and flaming soldiers. HEe Hee....pretty wild...but the rest is stock. I guess I will keep it that way. I will send you pics when it is running and buffed out

@GiantColoringBook Thanks for the comment. To answer your question, if you want to build a stroker right, it's going to cost ALOT of money. You can build one on the cheap too, and it might even be reliable. Honestly, I probably wouldn't build another one. The availability of parts is ok, but not great. A stroker, at minimum if not using a kit, requires 240sx pistons (shaved), 1973 240z rods (9mm), a diesel crank from a 1983 diesel maxima. Work needs to be done to the block)(bored .120 over

Great sounding engine. Since its fuzzy in video, what fuel pressure are u running. My Z has triples to. I read some of the forums that 3.7psi is the sweet spot for the webers. But I'm having the same problem u were having with less under load? Sweet ride!

@somthinrandm Thanks! I'm running around 4psi. I haven't had much time to play with it lately and I haven't had it on a dyno so I can't say if that's a good place or not. I'll know more in the next 3 weeks or so most likely.

You need the stock gauges, they look way better. Who's cares if they're a little less accurate.
