  • ok.....it says he's redlining at 4k......why? do you have to calibrate it after you install it or something?

  • The steering wheels shift point is user programmable. We intentionally set it low for that demonstration (as mentioned in the video annotations and description). Redlining the engine with no load is abusive, and not necessary for the demonstration. We have two other videos that show this wheel in a realistic setting, and encourage you to view them. There's one on track with the E90 M3 and for the best view of the shift lights view the E90/E92 M3 Test Pipes & Software Dyno video.

  • Does this fit on 06' E87 130i?

if yes, then I'm gonna buy one from ur shop.

  • Yes, according to the BMW ETK (electronig parts catalog), this steering wheel is listed as applicable to all Euro-spec E87, including 130i.

  • Why are the lights coming on so early compared to the actual redline of the car?

  • As mentioned in the annotations of the video, the shift lights are user programmable. We intentionally set the shift point low (3,000rpm) to not abuse the engine. To see the shift lights in a realistic setting, I suggest checking out the video response to this video -- which has in car track footage in the same M3. Hope this clarifies.

  • how much does this cost??

  • It's amazing how many people comment (complain) about the shift lights coming on at low RPM. They even put annotations in the video to avoid confusion!

  • Can it be fitted on my e60 530i by any chance?

  • OMFG where can i get this will it work on my 00 bmw 3 series

  • Haha this is fucking stupid. First of all, who's going to stare down at a tiny screen while driving hard? Also the shift lights clearly aren't calibrated properly, because they go red at about 2/3 of the RPM range. If you aren't capable enough to shift based on the odo or engine sound, get a shift light. It'll mount high enough that you don't have to take your eyes off the road, and it won't a) cost a fortune or b) be a pain in the ass to install.

  • I hear a valentine one!

  • cheap tuning part

  • cheap tuning part

  • fucking insane!!!!

  • I love this steering wheel. Just have a question. A friend has this steering wheel on a 330i Performance, the issue is that the wheel does not get on when the car is started as i see in the video. Don't know how to configure it. Could you help me please? We have to take into a count that this was installed after the car was sold. Thanks in advance...
