I just used a basic plastic hip holster and snap it to the metal bar that goes across the handle bars and use zip ties to secure the hip holster stays firm, doesn't pop off or rotate too much.

you should try wiring it to switched power source so you don't drain your battery in case you leave something plugged in. Gread vid though.

this will be my project today.

Awesome video when you hooked it up did it draw on your Ruckus battery at all or did you ever run into any issues with the battery going dead?

what happens if you crash by looking aat your phone and the scooter thingy explodes with your phone then what would you do you dont have any transportation or phone then vultures might get you then eat you so you could die which will be very sad :(

@davo5400 I have just bought a 12v socket for my 500 with the intention being to plug in a satnav. The socket is able to be wired straight to the battery, but I don't like that idea as it is permanently on when the ignition is off, so I will hard wire it into the loom. That way, the socket will only be live when the ignition is on with the key and when the motorcycle is parked up and switched off, the socket will no longer be live.
