@Sivanified so u mean that a children's movie depicting a repressed black man who likely wasn't allowed to live outside a certain area, own land, send his kids to school, or vote as a happy go lucky guy who has time to tell children stories isn't trivializing it? even if he's not slave, he still likely worked on a plantation for very little pay and had fewer civil rights
