I dont own a microkorg but if it has midi ins & outs , then you should be able to getting it working with live, oh yeah dont forget have to enable midi " ext" within the korg mx, then hit play in live thats it .

I thing the trouble with the latency is when you send the mx's audio outputs to the pc sound card; my solution was to send the mx's audio outs to a mix table in one chanel and the pc outs to a second chanel...

I have some latency with my terratech and electribe esx...

I ll try to fix it in the ableton propieties but still some latency...

Ext clock in the electribe isn't it?

sorry man but do you know if its also possible to use the emx as controller i mean to use ableton sound banks and effects and to control them with the emx nods and stuff

well... i can't find the right LATENCY COMPENSATION

for me it works quite well with delay 105ms on all ableton intern audio tracks, NOT the emx's channel.

those latencies are different from interface to interface, there's also a way to find it out, but i don't remember it right now

Just thought of this as a saw the title... My emx adapter broke awhile back, but I ordered a new one and when i get it im gonna try to incorporate it into my ableton setup a bit and i was just wondering if you can slave the emx to ableton (but only the tempos) and just let the emx run as if it were its own track in ableton? If anyone could help that would be great. Thank you.

I sold the EMX on ebay in the end and bought an access virus classic [also on ebay] instead.

I can't get ABLETON and EMX to sync I've tried everything (even all midi sync delay ms from Positve 300ms to Negative 300 ms) Did you every figure it out
