Garmaniser... coz many olympics participants are closeted, and the fact that Mitcham is strong enough to be openly gay in such an enviroment, and to the entire world is very very regardful... And the media attention it get's might push others to come out like him... and that's what the world needs, at least for gay people honesty and acceptance...

You just have to read what I said correctly, I do not have a problem with him being gay at all, I respect gay people. I'm sorry if I might have offended someone, but I seriously didn't say I had a problem with Mitcham being gay.

Why is it bad? Why not talk about both the gold medal and the fact that he's openly gay? Many people think it's a great combination!

Do you know, NirvanaJunkie, that Kurt Cobain was openly bisexual? Or that told his fans not to buy his albums or go to his concerts if they had a problem with gay people?
