Finally found the Lanikai pillbox trail last September. The first part is a real killer but the views were worth it. Aloha!

Man, this was one of the first hawaiian pieces of music I had heard as a younger person, and it transported me spiritually to another place.
I have just listened to it now, and I am so pleased to announce that it still transports me another realm.
Thank you to the Cazamero Brothers.

They are pure royalty. If I can get my neighbor here in San Antonio to ask to make a copy of it, you know its good.

that opening picture of the Mokolua's were taken from the old WW2 pill boxes. We used to go up there and have a few beers and smoke da' kine. Good times in high school.

@texaspoiboy Thats good. I grew up in Keolu Hills so all we had to do is climb behind some friends house. I think if you went up from the Lanikai side, it was harder. We used to play up there all summer. Pretend that we were soldiers. And then in high school a few beers an we just watched the world go by. Didnt know how special it was until I was older. Texas is not as nice as home. I just got a few pictures taken from the Maunawili trail in a panoramic view of all Kailua. Talk about home sick.
