I personally prefer adjustable daisies. That way you don't have to mess with fifi hooks to get in tight to your piece. Plus, moving around at belays and on the ledge at night, they come in real handy, so you dont have to completely unweight the daisy to get in tighter to the piece. Also, they are easier (for me anyways) to get the proper distance to your ascenders when jumaring.
What do you think about using adjustable daisys? Are they a faster option when speed is important and the terrain is not hard. I think they might only be faster when purely aiding and not mixing aid and free...
