I bawled like a baby when Dana died. LoL. Good acting on everyone's part!

I certainly know a lot of lesbians in dresses and fashion. And I'm one myself
-
@Uchihasasuk5 you're telling me you write five line and use two character examples to sum up a wealth of experiences, and you expect people to MIRACULOUSLY interpret that as, "other lesbians thought this show was shit, I myself took away so much." Whatever.
And how the hell does using the word 'base' equate being a "hipster". It's called being educated. Go clap yourself on the back, if you're not too busy "punching my asshole."
-
@dead39bunny Also, the fact that you used "base" as an adjective.. sounds like you're long overdue for a good punch in the asshole, pretentious piece of hipster shit
-
@dead39bunny That's not what I'm saying. What my comment says is that many people in the lesbian community have already complained that the show sometimes puts lesbians in a bad light because only negative things happen to them after they reveal their sexuality. I myself, have gained so much through the L word- It's indescribable and it hurts me that you are so quick to judge. Please read my comment and refrain from such emotionally charged outbursts

@Uchihasasuk5 that is bullshit. that is SUCH a limited view of what this show offered to so many lives. If that is all you took from 6 series and so many stories, then you are an extremely base human being.

Their are two important messeges that the show Dana's death brought to the audince. First messege is Dana should not have ignore the lump that she found in her breast because the early the cancer is detected the better chances of surviving. 2nd messege Dana's death is not fair story because not all people who have cancer will die. As I watch this interview one of the producer Rose Lam is probably a little bit ignorant of understanding cancer but Hollywood always portrait CANCER = DEATH .

It's so funny that lesbians stereotype themselves, complaining that The L Word isn't realistic because lesbian don't wear pretty things and that, I am a lesbian, I wear pretty things, I have long hair, wear make-up and care about fashion! If it was a bunch of butch dykes on the show there would have been outrage from some of the lesbian community for stereotyping, and yet they do it themselves, Arrrgghh you just can't win sometimes lol!
Dana's death just happened so quickly. It's so heartbreaking and unfair. They had obligation to their viewer's. It's so insensitive how the other woman says like, yeah she's funny and loved and guess what, she has cancer. :'( A lot of people really connected with Dana so it's really heartbreaking how they can just decide to kill her off so suddenly and quickly. :( Oh god.. if only we can bring back time....
