@smokinblu If there were no people that would give a thumbs down on this video, there would be no need for this video.
-

@Glora - If you're suggesting human trafficking is as bad in the U.S. as it is in the 3rd world, I refuse to believe you. I'm sure Americans are being kidnapped to send to these hellhole countries, however. One step we could make domestically to combat this would be to seal our southern border.

@Hiraghm This problem isn't limited to third world countries. This is happening all over the world - including the US.
-
Seems to me the best way to combat this is for the decent countries of the world to send the troops in and conquer these hellhole countries.

@jimmybobbyson maybe they are disliking the fact that this goes on ? not that people are trying to help.

It hurt me

@icarl25fly But it didn't end up being their fate :) They went to la casa de generacion surf in San Bartolo and now have opportunities in their life because of Not For Sale and their work along with Lucy Borja.

Hats off to the 13 of you that are making the difference and all those who help you! That being said, modern-day-slavery is in fact the the sysrem of money-debt, and human trafficing is only one of its grim branches. Unfourtenatly no body seems to adress the problem at its roors.

@myxamop13 Yes, we do need to get the problem at its roots. Very true. We learned a lot about the roots of the problem in Peru specifically while we were there and there are few people in this world trying to get at those problems and make a difference, but they are already making a huge one!
Money debt really is only one of the complicated issues of where human trafficking comes from. There is also the lust for power, gender discrimination, language deficiencies and human selfishness factor.
