@GreenHeadphones101 If you don't want to get bit then go to Canada BC Tofino. It's a great place to surf, no sharks and there are 10 feet waves and lower. Hope this helped!

i love riding my shortboard for mainly for control purposes, gut damn its so fun to wip out the 9 footer and just sit back and let the wave do all the work for you
