STAR WARS: The Rising Cost of Figures

I decided to voice my opinion on the rising cost of Star Wars action figures.
WHY??
Do you remember when toys were PLAYED WITH? When toys were manufactured to grab and jog the imagination of a child?

It seems that the rising cost of the toys have no negative impact on die-hard collectors, so as those guys rummage through the latest toyshelf restock at 1 A.M. to obtain the newest and hottest figures, all that's left are rows upon rows of a less-desirable character for non-collectors to settle for, and for a outlandish price.

I collected Star Wars toys as a kid. I have most of the entire original set, including characters of the "Last 17" wave. I played with them - most of the time on my own, and developed my imagination and creativity - something many kids today don't have. I blame it on the rising cost of toys. It seems toys are produced and sold to people who only feel they are worth more left in a box hanging up on their wall. To collectors in their twenties, sure. But what about the KIDS?

Although I do believe toys are overpriced, this video's intention is not to denounce or degrade Lucasfilm, Ltd. or toy collectors. It was made with a sense of humor. Please keep that in mind before leaving ridiculous, or spiteful comments.
