The inflation rate in the month of October crept upwards to almost 19%, despite Finance Minister Uhuru Kenyatta's reassurances that the worst for the economy was behind us. Prices for food, fuel and communications remained stubbornly high, as NTV's Wallace Kantai now breaks down.
Higher foodprices will regulate its self.
With higher foodprice farmers will go produce more and prices will go down again.

@sequensed, How I hope we match Population with available resources. Kenya is not poor but we're getting soo many kids!!!!!! why???? and the resources are not expanding.

The reporting is inaccurate. The Kenya National Bureau of Statistics results cover observations carried out before the Shilling recovery measures initiated by Uhuru Kenyatta.
