It is a concert and Karen is only singing with her brother Richard. But there is a very tender and special movie where children appear and the song is this. Try to watch it. It is "Bless the beasts and the children". It is very beautiful, although it is so sad.

The magic of Karen, an amalgamation of The Perfect Voice with the perfect lyrics for her, and the magic 'of the time' cannot be replicated or fully expressed now. She is one of the fondest musical memories from the 1970's (and early 80's) for many of us. The band ABBA would be my number two. I wish this magic could be shared somehow with the children of today, during these very trying times.

The slightly melancoly tender lyrics/melody were tailor made for Karen--love how it goes from tender to rock--great arrangement by brother Richard, once again. I LOVE the message of this song--yes, lets take care of the children and nature--god knows adults have screwed up the planet for those innocent ones.

I am from Pennsylvania myself (Harrisburg actually) and I don't think I could visit her grave, I would break down crying, Karen's music really speaks to me, its almost like I knew her. I wish she still was around, she was such a beautiful women inside and out.  :)
